Description

Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA

Umami driven notes of mushroom, cherry and tea. On the palate this is weightless with silken tannins, a benefit of slow evolution with time. This is in a wonderful spot, and should drink well over the next three years if not a bit longer.

Molly and Darrel began twill cellars as a project to explore some of the more unique terroirs in Oregon while employing the three varietals best suited to express the variations of land and vintages that they are hoping to capture. They are organic in the fields and very low impact in the winery. All of their wines are sourced from the grape and no procured bulk wine is used in their production. Their hope is to keep ahead by crafting serious wines that are vineyard and vintage specific from some of the best terroirs in Oregon.
