Description

The nose provides a beautiful balance between freshness with crushed violets and lavender and deeper elements of blackcurrants, licorice and elderberries. Tea leaves and charcoal, too. Full body, really refined and structured tannins and a long finish.

The grapes are hand-picked and selected on a double sorting table. The whole grapes fall into tanks below by force of gravity. All the varieties were produced separately. Fermentation and maceration occurred in stainless steeltanks for about 20-25 days at a controlled temperature not above 28ËšC. The wine was then put into 225-liter barrels made of French oak; here the malolactic fermentation was completed. The aging process lasted 12 months in oak barrels and at least another 10 months in bottles.

Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Petit Verdot
