Description

A wonderful mix of CPW classics, perfect for Christmas. 

Gros Manseng is crisp yet complex, overlaid with a gorgeous acacia/pink grapefruit bouquet. On the palate there are hints of greengage and grapefruit, with a touch of lime, and a superb long, rich finish.  It is excellent as an aperitif. Chardonnay Croc of Gold has toasty brioche aromas and a palate filled with tropical peaches, pineapples and melons. The Arinto Terra de Touros has  bright, crisp citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a lively lime acidity on the finish.  Superb with seafood favorites like sea bass, haddock etc and very, very tasty when paired with shellfish.

On to the red wines. Altivo Classic Malbec is ripe and rounded with lovely plummy fruit and the Clavis Aurea has  aromatic hints of red ripe fruit, jelly, black plums and cocoa, all well integrated with a french oak undertone. On the palate is powerful and velvety with an intense and persistent finish. Finally the Nero d'Avola is a lively red with purple fruits, a hint of vanilla and attractive tannins. Delicious.
