Christmas Family Selection Mixed Case of Wines

The Masia Parera Cava is drinking really well at the moment and makes a great drop of fizz for the chef and for arriving family. Packed full of citrus and white flower blossom, it's light and fruity and hits the spot. 

Casas del Bosque Pinot Noir is full of black cherry and strawberry flavours with a smoky underlying earthiness. It works really well with turkey and has a complex and lengthy finish. 

Domaine Pinson produces award winning Chablis and this really is an exceptional wine. It is bright, vibrant, pure, refreshing, aromatic, loaded with goût de pierre à fusil (gunflint taste), and perfectly balanced between ripe fruit and lemony, green apple, acidity.

Maison Sichel produces an extraordinary Sauternes, made just next to a very famous producer which we can't possibly mention. Here, the Sémillon and Sauvignon combine harmoniously to offer a highly expressive bouquet of citrus notes and jammy fruit with a hint of honey. Over an ample,richly extracted base, the palate displays a many-layered, persistent aromatic array of jammy orange and dried fig notes. Drink very chilled. (Half Bottle). 

Churchill's Reserve Port has a bright, full ruby colour with violet tones. On the nose, very distinctive with fresh blueberries and hints of eucalyptus and gum cistus; a very vibrant young Port with plenty of natural acidity but also balance and pedigree denoting its grade “A” vineyard origins.
