Description

2eme Cru Classe Barsac

Nairac traditionally produces a fairly big style Barsac which is very ripe and concentrated with hints of pineapple, butterscotch/caramel married with very fresh and clean acidity. With tiny volumes produced Nairac is very good value for money. It is owned by Nicole Tar-Heeter and, indeed, this estate must constitute a complete labour of love; with average yields of a miniscule 7 hectolitres per hectare from a surface area of 17 hectares which produces on average 10000 bottles per year.

90% Semillon, 6% Sauvignon and 4% Muscadelle
