Description

A wine for seafood, deliciously fresh and crisp with subtle notes of citrus fruits on the palate.
Recently tasted with : brown shrimps, parsley, creme fraiche and spaghetti with buttery asparagus. A perfect combination.
Varietals: Bacchus, Pinot Blanc & Seyval Blanc

The Sommelier Wine Awards is put together by Imbibe Magazine and is solely focused around the On Trade (and is indeed voted for by Sommeliers). this is what they said?ÿ
Wonderfully expressive, this cool fermented Bacchus/Seyval Blanc/Pinot Noir blend caught the panel's imagination. 'Peach and snowfruit on the nose, with a good, zesty palate attack,' said The Clove Club's Sam Heathcote, adding: 'The slightly saline finish makes it a great food wine.' Meanwhile Tomasz Kuszneruk of Plateau Restaurant found the 'jasmine, grassy, citrusy, white chalk' aromas of this wine attractive, also noting an 'almost spritzy palate of good minerality and fresh, summertime character'.
