Description

Offering a superb selection of exceptional wines, these are single bottles rarely seen unless sold as a whole case.

There is only ONE CASE available of these wines. Once it has gone, it's gone.

Includes 1 bottle of each of the following wines plus Free Delivery (Mainland UK)

WHITE WINES

Meursault Genevrieres 2020, Domaine Latour Giraud, Cote de Beaune, Burgundy: This is a truly remarkable Meursault. Full of rich layers of buttery fruit, underlying mineral roundness and texture with an amazingly long persistent finish

Puligny 1er Cru Clavoillons 2020, Domaine Jean-Louis Chavy, Cote de Beaune, Burgundy: The BEST vintage for white Burgundy for the last 13 years. An incredibly profound wine with massive concentrated fruit which supports a marginally higher dose of oak. A little more opulent than the Folatières. The vines are 50 years old which further adds richness and dimension to the wine.

RED WINES

Chateauneuf du Pape Vieux Telegraph 'La Crau' 1995, Domaines Brunier, Southern Rhone: A rich and smoky cigar box nose with dried berries on the palate and a streak of minerality with depth and grip, and a wonderfully long finish.

Chateau Sociando Mallet 1995, Haut Medoc, Bordeaux: Wonderfully expressive with smoky pine aromas, capsium and fine herbs on the palate and a touch of tobacco on the finish. Drinking beautifully.

Chateau Branaire Ducru 2009, 2eme Cru Classe, St Julien, Bordeaux: Jancis Robinson MW17/20: Smudgy crimson. High toned. Lots of juice and attack with some freshness too. Just the job for claret lovers really.

Chambolle Musigny Vieilles Vignes 2014, Domaine Hudelot-Baillet, Cote de Nuits, Burgundy: an intense, rich and deep colour but has not been over-extracted as there is an alluring fresh black cherry fruitiness balanced with a fine acidity and delightful silkiness
