Description

The Douceurs de Laura is a Methode Traditionelle cuvee made by Yannick de Vermont and Chris Piper. It is a demi-sec Gamay and Chardonnay blend, which has been on its lees for 9 months and then in bottle until now. It has a lovely fine bead, is fruit driven with peachy, soft red fruit overtones and an excellent balancing acidity. Very much aimed for summertime, it is dangerously drinkable and infinitely more appealing that most of its Italian counterparts. Try it with summer fruit, tarte aux pommes, trifle or just on its own!
